Diabetes grade B corresponds to which HbA1c result?

Normoglycemic

HbA1c <7.0%

HbA1c shows average blood glucose over the past 2–3 months. In diabetes management, keeping HbA1c below about 7% is commonly considered good or target-controlled, meaning the disease is present but well managed. If a grading system uses a B grade to denote a favorable level of control, then a result of HbA1c below 7.0% best fits that grade. This reflects that the person has diabetes but their glucose levels are kept in a range that reduces complication risk.

This isn’t the same as being normoglycemic, which would imply no diabetes or a normal HbA1c typically well below 7%. It isn’t about having HbA1c above 7.0%, which would indicate less controlled diabetes. And it isn’t about a diabetes diagnosis itself, since you can be diagnosed with diabetes yet have an HbA1c under 7% if your treatment achieves good control.
